New podcast launch, and livestreams to watch - #55

One of the fun things about improv is sweating about the mind-jenga that can happen, often just by chance or somethings by accident.

Perhaps two scene partners add two very disparate elements to a scene. How on earth will we unite these two things and move forward? How can both of these things be true in this word?

Sweat.

It can be dramatically fun though to figure that out. Where is the connection, that thing that brings it all together. Because working together to figure that out can be the beauty, and of course the laugh. When the audience goes “ah!” When YOU go “ah!”

Smart. And satisfying.

Excited to share a couple of podcast episodes to launch a new audio fiction comedy series called Unfuck Your Life with Tog Chesterfield. Have you ever wondered what your life could be like, after you’ve hit your rock bottom? Would you try to dig your way out, and get back to the surface? In Unfuck Your Life with Tog Chesterfield, Tog shares what happened on the way down to their own rock bottom and how they try to get out.

This show uses a combination of scripted and improv.

As per usual, here's yet another fact or word of the week…. this week we have a word.

WORD: Poltroon. This means “a spiritless coward.” The word is, as you may guess, associated with chickens. Chickens have been connected with cowardice for hundreds of years.
